Hello Staff,

Since I started using multiple usenet providers I've been getting failed logins:

- Failed login for server reader.usenetbucket.com:563
- and for the other 3 servers.

I've triple-checked the passwords, tested them and they all say Connection Succesful, also tried NZBGet works fine..

Server configuration below (Accounts details changed to asterix):

Code: Select all

[[news.eu.supernews.com]]
username = *
enable = 1
name = news.eu.supernews.com
fillserver = 0
connections = 30
ssl = 1
host = news.eu.supernews.com
timeout = 120
password = *
optional = 0
port = 443
retention = 1970
[[news.cheapnews.eu]]
username = *
enable = 1
name = news.cheapnews.eu
fillserver = 0
connections = 12

host = news.cheapnews.eu
timeout = 120
password = *
optional = 0
port = 563
retention = 1100
[[reader.usenetbucket.com]]
username = *
enable = 1
name = reader.usenetbucket.com
fillserver = 0
connections = 8

[[download.gebruikhet.net]]
username = *
enable = 1
name = download.gebruikhet.net
fillserver = 1
connections = 20
ssl = 1
host = 94.232.116.74
timeout = 120
password = *
optional = 0
port = 563
retention = 850
[[reader.wondernews.eu]]
username = *
enable = 1
name = reader.wondernews.eu
fillserver = 1
connections = 12
ssl = 1
host = reader.wondernews.eu
timeout = 120
password = *
optional = 0
port = 563
retention = 900
[[ssl-eu.astraweb.com]]
username = *
enable = 1
name = ssl-eu.astraweb.com

connections = 20
ssl = 1
host = ssl-eu.astraweb.com

Any idea why this keeps happening 0.o?

What happens if you enable just one at the time?
Weird situation, there are so many users (including me) who use multiple accounts.

Doesn't happen on single connection on supernews, as far as I tested.

Could it mix up the auths, using 7 servers ? It's a bit odd

The ones that fail all happen to be EU/Dutch (UsenetBucket, Wondernews, GebruikHet) though.

I do 230 Mbps 300 - 330 Mbps with a total of 10 connections; about 3 per newsprovider.

Hmm okay

I'll put it on 5 for each Unlimited server (3) and keep 12 for the fill servers..

Hope that fixes stuff

500 Mbps with SABnzbd? Keep us posted what you can achieve. See my thread here: 33 MB/s is my peak (on a i3 Core)
