.nzb import works only with nzbindex.nl

Hello there,
I scanned the first few pages of this forum and found no advice. Please forgive me in case this is a double post.
I am using FF with sabnzbd. My main nzb source ist http://nzbindex.nl. When I find what I was looking for, I click "download", a "save as" window opens and suggests me to open the file with sabnzbd. No problem at all.
Interestingly, this does not work with any other site mentioned on http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/nzb-sources.
Examples:
It looks to me that on http://findnzb.net/ you need a different program (that's what is says here: http://findnzb.net/download/). It is also possible (and works for me) to copy and paste the text behind the download link into notepad and save it as an .nzb file. Not very convenient though.
http://binsearch.info does show me a sabnzbd button with the offer to "send to sabnzbd". Does not work for me though. After clicking on the button of one search result, the button turns from yellow to grey, but nothing can be found neither in the queue nor in my download folder.
http://usenet-crawler.com requires me to get a login. Can I do without?
As sabnzbd though mentions on http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/nzb-sources that "They all work with SABnzbd perfectly fine so long as they generate NZBs", I am a bit helpless and confused. Thanks for any advice. And sorry about mixing topics.
And Merry Christmas everyone!
