Can't browse mapped CIFS share to set folder location

Platform:
Windows 8.0 Enterprise 64bit w/Latest updates
Lenovo W520
SABnzbd v0.7.16
QNAP NAS

Issue:
After setting up a new SABnzbd instance on this system I could see the folders just fine and browse to them but after an hour so, they went away and I started getting "can't create file" errors in the logs. I verified all the perms, I can create and remove folders and copy to and fro in explorer.

My question, which just occurred to me as I am typing - can you have multiple SABnzbd instances accessing the same shared folders? I may have another instance running on another system that I thought I had shut off.

Thanks!

SABnzbd doesn't shut off mounted network drives.
In fact, it doesn't really know the difference between a local and a network drive.
The disconnect cause must be coming from somewhere else.
It is possible to run two instances, normally not a good idea. You can simply check in the Windows Task Manager.
