Colon in filename, history broken

Ok. One of the recent items to come over my RSS feed was a certain space-based computer-animated TV show with light-based swords.

It is stuck in sab because it (sab) is trying to extract it into a folder with a colon. I DO have "Replace illegal characters in foldernames by equivalents (otherwise remove)." enabled.
This has screwed up my history and shows everything after it in an infinite state of not-finished. They (some 11 files) have all finished downloading, they just won't enter the repair and extract stage because sab is still waiting for this one to finish.
I can't delete the entries from the history. When I purged the history it removed everything that said "Completed" and left the ones that have yet to extract.
I need help, please.

What is your operating system? Try restarting sabnzbd to see if it will finish off the items waiting to be processed.

XP SP2. This has been a problem since the 10th. It has persisted through numerous SAB and Windows restarts.
Is there a database file that I can edit manually and remove the offending entry from the processing queue?

You can remove queue7.sab from the cache folder, open up this path in start>run or an explorer window.
Code: Select all
%userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\sabnzbd\cache
Removing this file will unfortunately remove all queue and history items, you won't be able to edit it to remove the offending one.

Can some time be scheduled to fix this, please?

ERROR
[assembler] Disk error on creating file e:\incomplete\Star.Wars:.The.Clone.Wars.S01E17.199\ctu-x264-star.wars.the.clone.wars.117.vol0+1.par2
Again, I do have it set to remove illegal characters. It doesn't seem to be working very well.

What version of sabnzbd are you running? As far as I'm aware all recent versions either replace : with - or simply remove it from the folder name.

Version: 0.4.6
Replace illegal characters in Foldernames:
Replace illegal characters in foldernames by equivalents (otherwise remove).
That option is checked.

How are you adding this file to sabnzbd?

It's being added by an RSS feed from

I have no idea how you got it in your queue, tvnzb/mytvnzb does not provide nzb's with a colon it. However colon replacement is working fine for me, so I don't know what to tell you.

"Filter folder names coming from compressed NZB archives"
Do you think that might fix my problem? I guess I'll find out. :/

Quite possible, this fix was triggered by someone who had '?' in his folder names.

The fix was actually for NON nzb archive files, and only when they were addied via the blackhole/watched folder.
