No Index Site Options in Wizard ?

Hello

I just installed SabNZBD Windows version 0.7.16. In your Wiki here it shows a page in the setup Wizard for entering in the Index Site Options (Newzbin.com & NZBmatrix.com), I did not see this page in the Wizard and I can't find this in the settings either. The setup guide I am trying to follow also says you must enter these details in the Wizard. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but both times I do not get to see this page.

Please advise

Thanks

Those two were the only indexers we supported directly.
Both have gone the way of the dodo.
The Wiki is outdated in that area.

Hi thanks for the reply, sorry I am a total newbie, never used Usenet or SABnzbd before. I understand I need to pay for a Usenet provider I am looking at Astraweb or 4ux.nl which was recommended to me by a friend. I then thought I also had to pay for a NZB search service like MZBmatrix.com. My friend also recommended to me http://nzbplanet.net/

So do I not need to enter my NZB search service account details in to SABnzbd, as all the user setup guides are showing to do ?

End goal is to use this with XBMC etc.

Many thanks

There are lots of search engines, free and paid.
See here: http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/nzb-sources
Of course, we prefer that you subscribe to Giganews or Supernews through our advertisment :)
That way we get a modest referral fee.
But you're free to shop anywhere.

1) You never had to pay for an indexing service. There have always been free alternatives to the paid ones.
2) Similarly, you never had to enter indexing credentials into SABnzbd, you only had to do so for Newzbin or NZBmatrix. This wasn't because those indexers were preferred, it was because they simply wouldn't work with SABnzbd without also saving your credentials. Now they're gone and all the indexers that are left are sensible and don't have such requirements.
