That's already what SABnzbd is doing, in most of the cases anyway.
Do you have an example NZB that illustrates what you describe below?

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I'm seeing this pop up more often, recently:
The file can then be fixed with:
Code: Select all
$ par2repair clickme.par2 S02E10.1372
In linux, it does not find the .1372 file without help,
but it does seem to work with QuickPar for Windows
