Upgrading to OS X Mavericks

It'd be great if someone could make or link to a detailed, step-by-step post about what to do to ensure that SABnzbd+ works after upgrading to Mavericks from Mountain Lion. There are some threads about issues with Mavericks but my search has yielded no definitive guide about how to handle the upgrade. It would be much appreciated and would be helpful to a lot of people. Thanks in advance to whoever helps out!

Makes me think of:
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that, because it was Everybody’s job. Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn’t do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have.
;-)

As you say you've researched it, you could start the thread by writing down one-liners of what you know of SABnzbd & Mavericks. In the open source world it's called "scratching your own itch".

For example:

- Possible slowness problem when unpacking to a NAS drive.
- ...
- ...

SABnzbd will work, but there are some minor issues.
- Notification Center messages are no longer delivered
- unpack to NAS has become even slower (100% due to unrar)

Thanks shypike. Do I need to reinstall SABnzbd after upgrading to Mavericks or does it work out of the box?

SABnzbd should still work after the upgrade.
BTW: it seems that Notification Center messages keeps working.
Not sure what's going on with that.
