NZBZombie rename issue

Hi all,

Some quick baseline information:
Version: 0.7.16
OS: Windows 8
Is the issue reproducible? Yes

I've been thoroughly enjoying SAB for some years now and for the first time I am in need of some help. I've read through the manual, FAQs and done much searching but can't find a solution to a renaming issue I have.

My understanding is that SAB grabs names from the NZB which is proving problematic for NZBZombie. These filenames are obfuscated, e.g. [NZBZombie]8efecfdca9962ea2f914fbc18fbfdbef so while files unpack correctly, they unpack to \[NZBZombie]8efecfdca9962ea2f914fbc18fbfdbef\filename.mkv

I know other index sites have been obfuscating posts but to date SAB hasn't had an issue naming them. It seems to be just NZBZombie which is a shame as they're a good indexer and I'd like to move them up the priority a bit if I could get the names correct.

Have I missed something obvious or are filenames just another casualty in the cat and mouse DMCA game?

Appreciate any suggestion and advice!

Cheers

Name obfuscation is done by posters, not by indexing sites.
Some posters go to such lengths to hide there posts that you need external info to decode things properly.

Thanks shypike. Agreed the article name is so obscured you do need external details to decode them.

Is there any way to rename based on the archive name though? The actual post had the filename quite clearly stated, just the NZB is obfuscated. Not sure of the logic here.

I have no idea with just this info.
Please email the NZB to bugs@sabnzbd.org and include the URL of this message.
