Failed repair, can i set to automatically dl different file

Post by shortskoolbus »

So i get this error with the repair:

161792-Sample] Repair failed, not enough repair blocks (30 short)
[161792] Repair failed, not enough repair blocks (562 short)
Trying SFV verification
Some files failed to verify against "161792.sfv"

This thing just sits in my history until I actually check, and I try to use SAB and sickbeard as a totally automated process. Is there anyway to have SAB automatically retry the download, or download a different version of the file? I guess it would need SB to tell it to download a different file.... not sure how that would work. But guess i am just looking for a solution where it could resolve itself.

Sab doesn't do searching for files, so it cannot possibly download anything else unless it's told exactly what to download (i.e. a new nzb magically appears). That means it's up to the human or your third-party application to make that happen. Couchpotato can do this (it checks the history for failed jobs via sab's api and tries to find something different), but afaik sickbeard doesn't have a semi-intelligent retry mechanism.
