I used to use an addon called Sabby that allowed me to stream files I was downloading in VLC. After installing Windows 8 Sabby stopped working for me (I suspect it's because my SABnzbd install wouldn't work from localhost and is on my local IP now instead, while Sabby is set to look for localhost).
Are there any other options for streaming files? I've Googled it several times without any luck. Or perhaps someone knows how to reconfigure Sabby?
