Hi,

I recently switched from Newsleecher on Windows to Sabnzb on Linux for my downloads. Perhaps, it is worth to know that my download folder is on the local server while the complete folder is on another server (using NFS).

I'm mostly convinced with the tool, but I often have errors with some old files and sometimes Sabnzb fail to repair them, but I succeed in repairing them from the console.

I noticed, that Sabnzb in my case almost never download the par2 files, it only downloads the first par2 file but not the volx+x.par2 files. I have to download them with nzbget to try the repair myself.

I do not mind doing the repair by hand, but I would like that all Par2 files are downloaded even if they are not useful. I don't care about the bandwith, the server is running 24/24.

I have unchecked "Enable Quick Check" and "Enable Par Cleanup" and "Post-Process Only Verified Jobs", but it still doesn't download the par2 files.

What can I do to achieve my goal ?

Thanks a lot :)

P.S. I can provide a NZB that doesn't work on Sab but I succeeded with downloading files with nzbget and repairing/unraring by hand.

I just found another case of the problem.

The par2 files were not downloaded, but this time they were named differently from the parts.

par2 files: 1294094386.par2 ...
parts: d-predator2-1080.r00 ...

The par2 files were not downloaded but I was able to download them with nzbget and repair/unrar by hand.

In this case, I would understand why it doesn't get repaired, but I can't understand why the files are not downloaded. As I said, I don't mind some manual work, but downloading them again by hand is a pain in the ass, that is why I want every single file being downloaded.

I just had another example this morning. I first tried it with nzbget and the repair worked perfectly and automatically. After some more research it seemed that I was not the only one having issues with Par2. I downgraded to 0.7.11, retried and it worked (I had erased the nzb and the files before retrying on the downgraded version).

So, I will stay with the version 0.7.11 for now on my server.
