Security Certificate

Hey all!
I'm very new to SABbzbd but from the looks of things, its looking very good if slightly un-user friendly web interface and some crashes of sab and blue screens but anyway to the point!
I can access SAB fine but its just a huge annoyance that every time I start my laptop im presented with a SSL certificate error in chrome that the site security certificate is not trusted! I've tried two guides on how to install the certificate to be trusted and verified (other than buying one) but none have worked.
I have tried installing the certificate through chrome > manage certificates > import and the same through IE but nothing seems to work, only on one list does SAB show and stay there, every time it is forgotten and im shown the dreaded screen again.
Any help?
