Scheduling Clarification

I am using RSS to get my .nzb files (specifically http://MyTvNZB.foechoer.be), but I can't work out the best way to use Scheduling, or even if I need it.

If I just want SAB to download the file as soon as it appears in the feed, do I need to set a schedule (e.g. 6am every morning)? Or if I have no schedule, will it just do this automatically?

I've read the wiki, and I'm guessing that scheduling is only if you want to turn SAB off and on at certain times (enable/disable), but then I read a couple of posts on here that seemed to contradict that. Does no schedule = always on (enabled)?

Sorry for the dumb question, I'm new as you might have guessed  :-[

The RSS schedule is not related to what you do in the Config->Schedules page.
Instead, you set an RSS interval (minutes) in Config->General.
Then each RSS feed marked as "scheduled" will be included in the automatic scan.

It's a bit confusing, one day we'll redesign this stuff.

Thanks for the quick reply. So I can forget about the top level Schedule function if I want the whole set up to be always on. Makes sense now, thanks again :)
