I would find it useful to have SAB just check for completeness on each of the servers defined and then report a percentage available but it does not download anything?
Server 1 = 1% complete
Server 2 = 50% complete
Server 3 = 75% complete
All enabled servers will be checked regardless of priority. Only disabled servers are ignored.
Completeness checker for all servers?
Re: Completeness checker for all servers?
I personally like the idea, but how do you define "complete"? With DMCA, a lot of server operators replace certain articles of a post with garbage, and still say they have the article.
So:
Complete #1: "Server says it has the article"
Complete #2: "Server can really provide the requested article".
A related thing is: report on the actuale completeness of different servers. That way you can score different servers. To be honest you have to report completeness as a function of the age of the post.

Re: Completeness checker for all servers?
I was thinking you could use the same complete method that is used in the Check Before Download / req_completion_rate option so it would intelligently work out whether it is valid or not.
The feature request is the percent complete is reported by SAB for all articles on each server individually and the existing overall percent complete is also given.
So an NZB containing 100 articles:
Server 1 = 1% complete (1 article found, 99 articles missing)
Server 2 = 50% complete (50 articles found, 50 articles missing)
Server 3 = 75% complete (75 articles found, 25 articles missing)
All = 100% complete (what is used now)
The main difference is it should not download anything it should only check and present the completion results per server.

The point of my post: that does not work anymore.sab12397 wrote:
