Hi Guys,

I have been experiencing large quantities of CRC errors particularly with large nzb files 10-20gb. I have a good mix of usenet servers with european backup servers.

SABNZBD will often fail to extract, delete and post process, however half the time with these errors I can do this manually. I've read the CRC forums and SABNZBD wiki, but still unable to pinpoint the cause, are there any settings within SABNZBD that i should look at, or additional extracting software that may need installing or updating?

You mean CRC errors reported by unrar?
Are you able to extract "manually" (with which software?) without first repairing the files manually?

CRC errors reported by SABNZBD log. Depending on the file type I can extract manually mostly using unrar. Half the time it works manually, the other half unrar reports the same extraction errors as SABNZBD.

Odd, have you run a memory test recently?
SABnzbd only reports what unrar reports.
If the results of the same set of files are intermittent, I'd suspect the hardware.

Shypike I've ran a memtest and results were normal. And its not lacking processing power or ram as it barely uses the quad core or the 16gb of ram.

I'm out of suggestions, sorry.
