usenetserver copyright.

Post by muddy »

Hi all,

I just switched from torrent to newsgroups, but I'm having problems.

I have an account with news.usenetserver.com.
I installed sabnzbd.
I think I logged in with the correct username and PW as provided by usenetserver.com
I found nzb files at binsearch.
When importing an nzb file into sabnzbd it puts the file in the queue and downloads about 20-100 kb.
The file moves to the history line and that's it.

Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong? I get no files in my complete folder except for a really small compressed file with the same name as the nzb-file.

btw : windows 7 32 bit

USENETSERVER.COM Just mailed me this is because of copyright issues. any ideas on that?

It just means they removed (most of) the post because they received a DMCA takedown request.
SABnzbd show a low speed when it only receives "article not found" messages.
It shows this in the download report (click on the History entry).

Indeed, I just tried about 10 nzb files that were removed, works like a charm if you have a good one.

Thanks for your help.
