Extremely slow downloads

Hi I am new this Forum, but I have been using Dognzb and SABnzb for some time now, but for the last week I have not been able to download at my normal speeds, infact it drops down to zero and stays there , I can use utorrent and it is fine, has anyone else had this problem and do they know how to fix it?

Do they end at all?
When you hover the mouse over the top job title, it should show a popup windows
telling you how many articles are missing.
When most articles are missing on a Usenet server, SABnzbd will indicate a very low speed.

Some have finished and have been OK and some not OK, the last couple of days nothing has finished as I have shut down SABnzb after 8 hours

On what hardware do you run it, memory?
Is the queue very large?

Running window 7 Home Edition Intel i7 cpu @ 3.4 Ghz 8 Gig Ram 64 bit operating system

I am not sure what you mean "is the queue very large" at the moment I have only 1 800mb file downloading

That's not large.
Verify your Usenet subscription, network etc. with another Usenet client, e.g. Grabit.
One other thing you might try is to do a "queue repair" from the Status page.

Thanks for all your help Shypike, but for some reason the speeds have increased to almost what I was getting a couple of weeks ago, and seems to be getting better, I think it may have been my service provider, whether they were throttling my downloads or not I don't know, after complaining to them about my speed, which they said was fine, it miraculously has been speeding up.
