Linux: Watched Folder and Firefox not wokring properly

Hello,

is successfully installed sabnzbd on my Synology NAS. I created a watch folder on the NAS and putting nzb files there from Nautilus which works properly. But saving a nzb file with firefox directly in that folder doesn't work as suspected. The file is deleted by sabnzbd but is not put in the download queue. Also the nzb backup folder is not updated.

I mounted the NAS folder via cifs:

192.168.178.27:/documents /mnt/downloads cifs uid=1000,gid=1004,rw,credentials=/root/.smbpasswd 0 0

Any help is appreciated :-)

Regards, Rooboo

I did a test:

I got 10 nzb files.
I copy them all in nautilus to the watched folder.
-> sabnzbd takes one of them in the queue
I copy all of them (minus the already queued file) again in the watched folder
-> nothing happens
Since the files are deleted, I copy them all again in the folder and wait.
->One file is added to the queue
I copy all of them (minus the already queued file) again in the watched folder
-> nothing happens
...

It seems sabnzbd arbitrarily adds a file to the queue and ignores the other. I cannot resolve that problem. So the watched folder is useless at this time...

Are you sure the NZB files are OK?
Try to upload the same file manually from the "Add NZB" dialog.
