I have never set a username and pass for SABNZBD and it is now asking me for the details everytime i start it up, i cannot get into the program as if i click ok it stays on the window to put the details in and if i cancel i just get an error msg saying error 401 unauthorized.

can anyone please help?

great i found an option saying i can start without login so i tried that then in settings i removed the username and password that was set then restarted sabnzbd and now i keep getting a new error saying error on line 1, i have looked at my ini file and its now completely empty, will i have lost my current downloads or will i be able to resume them once ive sorted this?

If the ini file is empty it's beyond repair. Restore from a backup, then try queue repair. Instructions for removing username/password for the web interface are part of the faq.

thanks for your reply, thankfully i have found an old backup which contained most of my setup so i am ok now, thanks for your help.
