I can get to the start wizard, but then it just sits there, and i really dont anything about how to fix it.....please help

is there a how to do it for dummies.........i am an absolute dummy and dont even know if this is the place to ask. at my wits end, had it set up before but someone did it for me, but changed computers and now cant get it go past wizard setup
