zonealarm blocks sabnzbd

When i was using zonealarm i wasnt able to use sabnzbd anymore.
seemed like zonealarm blocked the port sabnzbd is using?
I find it strange, because when i use comodo firewall everything is fine again.
but i rather be using zonealarm.
what can i do about this problem?

This is not exactly a sign of quality of ZoneAlarm.
Such programs should be transparent to applications and ZA obviously is not.
There's also the possibility that you did not instruct ZA correctly about SABnzbd.

i have no clue. i only know how to setup sabnzbd so i can download.
so what can i do about this problem?

Go through ZA's settings again?
I'm sorry, but from my perspective it's a ZoneAlarm issue.

Just to say, I've been using Kaspersky with no problems. Hand to change to Zonealarm as my sub ran out. SABnzbd not starting. Stopped Zonealarm, started SABnzbd and it started, original port was 8080. I changed the port in SABnzbd to 8090 and now it seems to work with Zonealarm running. I'm running Win 8.1 x64 machine. Hope this info helps some people.
