Hi there, i have been using SABnzbd on my iMac and it has been running amazingly

However i started to turn this off at night and decided to install this on my Synology DS2411+ (3Gb Ram) and let it run there since its always on. I have noticed tho that instead of getting my full 100Meg (Virgin) like i did on my iMac i get around 60-85Meg max. I have tried a few options like ports numbers and that, which didnt work.

I also noticed that the extraction and repair speed is alot slower, which puzzles me alittle. i thought that it wasnt very CPU taxing it was more to do with IO bandwidth on the hard drives (Raid 5 array on 11 x 2Tb HDDs) I thought that this would have been enough Bandwidth for it.

Too be honest neither of these issues are a big problem for me as i do all my downloading at night, but it would be great for the odd item i would like to download during the day for it too download and extract quicker.

Has anyone else had these issue's on this unit or similar ones?

Repairing is very CPU intensive (as well as disk intensive), especially for large repairs.
Also, there are no optimized par2 versions for embedded platforms; you're limited to the slow stock par2cmdline.
Unrar should not be a problem, although I have heard some complaints about it not being very speedy over network connections.
