How to prevent ANY processing by sabnzbd or scripts

Hello,

I'm having a lot of trouble with sabnzbd constantly trying to process par2's and extract files after download. I used to let it do its thing but recently have been getting a lot of nzbs with missing par2s or damaged rars here and there.

Because of that, I got sick of constantly digging through my download cache folders and moving files all around. So I tried disabling sabnzbd from doing ANY post processing, but it still keeps doing it! Even when it auto-loads nzbs now, it still automatically sets the "processing" drop down option for these nzbs to "+Delete" which, from my understanding does all post processing (download, repair, unpack, delete). So I set it to just "download" from the drop down, and apply this, and it STILL processes the items occasionally!

sabnzbd is running as a service on my system - Win7 Pro x64. Version: 0.7.11

I will post a screenshot of the "Special" tab of my config page in the next post.

Can someone tell me what I need to do to stop it from automatically processing anything? I don't want it to auto concatenate, unpack, repair, delete, NOTHING! Just download the files and leave them alone.

Very frustrating.. I'm ready to go back to GrabIt if I can't figure it out. I just love that sabnzbd runs as a service in the background.

I also noted that even with the checkboxes unchecked for a bunch of those options, they are still showing (on).

I have applied the changes and restarted the service after making changes every time. It still remains like this. This system has been restarted several times after applying my changes as well.

I've been dealing with this issue for weeks. I didn't just start trying to fix it now or anything..

Go to Config->Categories and set post-processing for
the "Default" category to "Download".
You might also look for a better NZB search engine.

Well, I feel like an idiot. I didn't mess with that because it looked like a section to define multiple processing profiles. But I never paid attention to the persistent "Default" profile at the top.

I use many nzb search engines; many good ones, but some lesser servers end up with junk NZB's and occasionally, the good servers are lacking a good copy of that specific NZB altogether.. but I need the specific files in the NZB so I have to settle for trying a junk NZB with my fingers crossed.

I will write back to let you all know if that solves my problem.

That did it! It's leaving my par2's and rars alone now. Thank you for the help! Sorry for such a stupid question.. we all let something slip our mind from time to time :)
