Restricted Downloads?

Hey Guys,
Enjoy SAB but wondered why it only downloads one download at a time. For example, If I have a queue of 12 shows, it will only download the first, leaving the others in queue and inactive. My understanding is that it would support downloads up to the limit of my bandwidth.
Is that not so?
Thanks!

It does; it downloads multiple parts of a post simultaneously.
If that's slower than you expect then there are three possible causes:
- You did not set enough "connections" in Config->Servers (for most Usenet providers it's something between 10 and 20)
- Your hardware isn't fast enough (SABnzbd is relatively demanding, any average PC or Mac will do, small low-power servers might not).
- You Usenet provider is less speedy than it advertises (rare for the reputable ones)
Also: SABnzbd shows BYTES per second, while your ISP sells you BITS per second.
(Factor of about 9)

I'm using UsenetServer with 20 connections - which is reflected in the settings in SAB. The computer is blazing. Thoughts?

I'd say #3, but I have no experience with that particular service.
Try another Usenet client (Grabit?) for comparison.
