Hi,

First post here and I am trying to find the answer to a few questions.

1. randomize_server_ip will not change to (on) for me. I have the latest version 0.7.11 and restarted the service and pc several times. I tried Chrome and IE. Installed versions 0.6.15, 0.7.10, and 0.7.11. Is there a reason this wont change?
2. The reason I want to change that setting is because I am getting slower downloads. I have newsbin pro and that works fine with the same usenet provider. I read in several of the forums here that changing the randomize_server_ip to (on) could help this issue. hence my question above. Any thing else I should try other than what I have already done?

A little more info:

I installed SAB on another PC and I am getting the same results. I also tried newsbin pro on this pc and it is downloading fine. Both pc's I can't change the randomize_server_ip?

System 1 -
Intel I5
6gigs ram
2 - 2tb drives
Win7 pro 64bit

System 2 -
AMD phenom quad core
4 gigsram
2tb drive
Win7 pro 64bit

Try clearing the browser cache.
As a last resort you can stop SABnzbd and edit the sabnzbd.ini file directly.

Weird - when I checked the ini file it was set to (1) but when I check the config in sab it shows the check box checked but it is still set to (off). I am still have slow download speeds on multiple machines, both using win7 64bit.

Ok - so now I understand that randomize_server_ip? <off> is just the default setting and it is in fact on. I am still having issues with slow download speeds though. Any thoughts.
