Sometimes after a download is verified, extracted, etc the folder that is put into my directory has UNPACK_*name of file. The file is complete and fine, but it screws up my directory when some have that UNPACK_ in the folder name where others create a normal folder with the file sans the UNPACK_ part.
The weird thing is that this happens about half the time and the other half the folders are named correctly and do not have UNPACK in the name.
How do I fix this so the UNPACK part is never in a folder name when it is downloaded and extracted, etc properly?
Thanks.

Re: Folder inconsistency
Sounds like some of the same issue as here: http://forums.sabnzbd.org/index.php?topic=1248.0 (which i loaded up the forums to reply to)
This is likely from sabnzbd not being allowed to rename the folder to it's final name. Most common reasons are the folder is being accessed by a file indexer (XP/Vista indexer, Google Desktop) or a media library (XBMC, Mediaportal) or even your anti-virus.
Do you have any of these running, if anti-virus then what program?

Re: Folder inconsistency
I do have xbmc, but this happened today when my xbox was not on. I am sure this has happened many times when the xbox was turned off. I do stream to the xbox, though.
I am using XP.
I have Symantec Corp antivirus. I don't think that is the problem, because when this used to not happen ever, I was using the same anti virus.
I am not using google desktop.
thanks for the help. i will keep an eye on the other thread as well.
in the latest warnings portion of SAB I do see an error. "[postproc] Error removing workdir (H.....", then down a line "[postproc] Error renaming "H:\SAB\......."
is this a newzbin issue or a my usenet host maybe? these files were 0 days old.
If there was something you would suggest that be "off" in a typical anti virus program I would gladly try that. I have no idea what that would be.
thanks again.
