Hi,

When I checked SabnzbD today I saw that it was not downloading and was paused. When I hit resume, it begins immediately begins downloading and then downloading stops. In warnings, there's a file that says "Disk Error in Creating File". I went into the Temporary download folder and I checked the file that was giving the error and the folder title for that file is longer than all the other folders. could that be why it was pausing?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Update: I shortened the length of the title for the NZB File and I was able to download the file. All is good now

On Windows we're still struggling with oversized path names.
That will be solved in the 0.8.x release.

Says version "0.7.11 Final". Does this mean no more updates are coming? The pausing is really annoying, I guess there is a workaround, but still annoying.

No, "Final" means that it's not a Beta release.
Release 0.8.0 will go Alpha in a month or so and it will (mostly) solve the path size problem for Windows.

Funny, I am running this on an iMac and still having the same pausing issue where every few minutes it just pauses. It has only started to happen to me since the last update

I just ran into this issue on Windows. Everywhere I look, I can't find an Alpha or Beta version of the 0.8.0 release. The only available version is 0.7.18.

Will it be released anytime soon, or has development stopped?

Development is currently very slow.
0.8.0 has some catching up to do with 0.7.x which needed too much maintenance.

This one keeps pausing reliably.

Likely oversized path sizes (longer than 255).
Set Config->Special->folder_max_length to something like 40.

I changed the value to 40, but then weird things started happening (nothing was unpacking properly), so I changed it back to 128.

But, I "fixed" it by changing "Config --> Folders --> Temporary Download Folder" to "C:\sabnzbd" instead of the default of "C:\Users\Admin\Documents". This dropped the path length down far enough that everything seems to be working. There have been a couple of issues, but I think they have been due to invalid download files.
