[SABnzbd 0.7.11] Cpu usage 100 on Syno DS211
Posted: March 9th, 2013, 5:44 am
Hi,
Firstly, sorry for my english. I'm running SABnzbd on Synology DS211, i'm recently update sabnzbd 0.6.5 to 0.7.11, since that when Sab is downloading a file, the cpu usage is permanently at 100%.
Synology DS 211 :
CPU Frequency : 1.6GHz
Memory : DDR3 256MB
Connection settings:
Newshosting unlimited
connections max : 30
Retention : 1661
I tried many settings like disable SSL,port change, lower connections number (30 --> 20 -->
, limit cache file size to 16M (what is the best setting for my hardware ?), and some other things.
The only working thing is to limit the download speed to 1024 (it works too with 1536kb/s), but if I set to 2048, cpu usage grows instantly to 100%
I didn't understand why, my connection speed was not limited on my old installation but I've never had this issue. I've changed 3 things before this issue apear :
- Sabnzbd version (0.6.5 to 0.7.11)
- HDD (Samsung Spinpoint F1 1TB to Western Digital Red 3TB WD30EFRX)
- Synology DiskStation Version (4.1 to 4.2, but I've noticed this issue before update)
Can you help me to understand what happens and how to solve this ?
If you need more details or configuration file, please don't hesitate to let me know.
Regards
