Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.

Jammed
Download is jammed in "verifying" and won't allow me to even shut down SABzbn. I shutdown PC, restarted then uninstalled SABnzb...reinstalled it and it opened with same files locked in download verifying...How can I get rid of that problem?

The most likely cause is that par2 has trouble with handling one of the
weirder naming schemes that some posters use.
Stop SABnzbd, go to the "incomplete" folder and remove the offending job folder.
You may try QuickPar to see whether the item can be repaired manually.
