can't get email template folder setting to stick

i'm using version 0.7.11 on os x mountain lion, and am trying to set up conditional email notifications based on category.

i have my template all ready to go, and in the sab settings for notifications have selected "always", and can navigate to my template folder. the problem is that though i hit "save" and everything looks good, the setting for the folder doesn't stick - if i navigate away and come back, there's no entry persisted, so my template never actually gets hit.

any suggestions?

Which browser?
I assume SABnzbd runs on the same system as the browser and under the same user account?

yes - same system and same user account, and this is with chrome (i believe the latest version, but i'm not currently in front of that machine to check)

Clear your browser's cache or try a different browser.
BTW: we don't support Chrome releases outside the release channel.

cool - i'll give that a shot. the browser didn't occur to me as a possibility - i'll try in safari/firefox.

unfortunately, that doesn't appear to be the problem. i get the same behavior in chrome & safari both, even after clearing all local content from sab...

anything else you can think to try, or further diagnostic information that i can provide?

alternatively, i suppose that i might be able to manually put the string in the config file.

It all sounds rather like issue with your system.
Indeed, try setting the path directly in the INI file, but make sure SABnzbd isn't running.

that did the trick - i've got further debugging to do for the conditional logic in the template, but at least that directory is sticking in the prefs now.
