I have a large download file that is stuck in History section... Thou.Shalt.Read.The.Forum.Rules... status says "Verifying" and download notes show "8 articles missing." What do I do now? Can't seem to delete it and it doesn't seem to want to complete processing. Any advice, please?

Which SABnzbd version?
What kind of files are missing?
(Click on the queue entry.)
If nothing significant is left, set the job's priority to Stop.

I notice that " Thou.Shalt.Read.The.Forum.Rules" has been added to my original post. Have I done something wrong or violated some guideline? Please tell me what I did incorrectly so that I won't err again.

Download is in HISTORY section. How do I STOP it there?

The forum rules say that you're not supposed to talk about what you are downloading.

What you describe is like your average incomplete post; it happens.
Are you using release 0.7.11. If not, upgrade. Some bugs have been squashed
that may sometimes lead to this error.
It won't fix the current download.

Sorry about the file reference... I thought it might help your diagnosis of the problem.

I'll update to new version. If this doesn't fix my current download, what should I do? I have another download "waiting" behind it.

Where is that job? In the queue or history?

A second file was in HISTORY "waiting" behind the file that was stuck in "verifying" mode. After the update the two files in my Queue had moved to HISTORY also. So I had 3 files "waiting" and the original one "verifying." Per your previous instructions, I DELETED the "waiting" files and uploaded fresh NZBs for them, Then I went to my TEMP file and was able to delete the problem file which then disappeared from HISTORY. All seems to be working now... hope this information helps your diagnosis.

hello, i'm having the same problem here but stuck, wondering if you could help.

i have a file in my history still "waiting" and not processing. it's holding up all my other files from processing as well, been going on for three days. i don't have any way to delete or repair the "problem" file in my history, it still sitting there with the spinning deal on the left.

i run sab on my mac with the latest version. how can delete this file or fine the temp folder like weybrew?

The temporary download folder is easy to find. It's listed in Config->Folders.
By default it's Downloads/incomplete in your home folder.
Stop SABnzbd, remove the suspected folder and start SABnzbd.
Which version are you using?

Yes, of course. Don't know why I couldn't figure that out myself. Was aloe to delete the filet hat was holding things up, had to restart machine and then everything is back to being fine.

Should it hang again, look for a pattern in the type of download.
Some of the more weird naming conventions seem to be a challenge for par2.

Ok that maybe would explain it. The file had () in the name, looked kind of weird. That would explain it this time around.
