I created a custom category for iPhone videos.. i am using the api to to send the data to sabnzbd http://host:port/sabnzbd/api?mode=addurl&name=nzbID&cat=iphone
I also have a category for TV, once it gets to sab it resets the category to TV because TV is the newzbin category.
I think it is replacing the category I specify with the cat taken from newzbin.

Is there something I can do to fix it or is it a bug?

This should be solved in 0.4.5RC1.
If not, we're every interested to know!

Which release are you using?

I am using SABnzbd+ 0.4.4
I will upgrade to 0.4.5 tonight and let you know!

Unfortunately, I just upgraded to 0.4.5RC1 and I had the same problem. 
Anything else I can do to help fix this?

I was wrong, it will be fixed in 0.4.5Final, not out yet.

Can't wait for 0.4.5
