Binsearch URL into SABnzbd?

Hi,

Is there a way to get Binsearch URLs into SABnzbd, without first saving and uploading a NZB?

For example: Can I instruct SAB to download the results on http://www.binsearch.info/?q=UBUNTU_8.1 ... 40&server=

FYI: This URL itself does not give a .NZB; you have to select the files you want and then select "Create NZB". I would like to skip that manual step.

If this not possible: which sites do generate a NZB directly? I tried Yabsearch, but they don't look as complete as Binsearch: http://www.yabsearch.nl/search/UBUNTU_8.10_KUIKENTJES is empty ...

Not possible, their site requires selected collections or files to be sent as a POST parameter, and since the id's are not known sabnzbd cannot do anything with the url.

Maybe try using nzbdstatus to auto send the nzb files to sabnzbd wherever they are sent to.

nzbdStatus: "It will monitor your downloads and automatically upload any .nzb file to the daemon.": the monitor part works, but how does the "automatically upload" work? Should it kick in when Firefox' downloader has downloaded the NZB from Binsearch? Because nothing seems to happen (and yes "Send NZB files to this daemon" is on) ...

It should add any nzb file downloaded by firefox to any folder, and delete that nzb. Not sure why it isn't for you. Username and password entered?

I have no username/password on my local SAB, so that should not be the problem.

Maybe better if I go go the third party add-ons forum http://forums.sabnzbd.org/http://forums ... .php?f=6.0 as this is a nzbdStatus and not a SABnzbd question?

Good news: it now works. The "only" thing I've done is ... restarting my laptop. When I download a .NZB-file now, it's automagically inserted into SABnzbd for downloading.

Great firefox plugin!
