hi,using the quick start wizard i am stuck at the first step...i put in the host name and get a failed to connect message, is the host name the e-mail address of the site, i am with newshosting

Have you filled in the username and password you got from newshosting? And if so, did you fill it out correctly in SABnzbd?

i may have the wrong password...just waiting for newshosting to get back to me

i have the correct password but now says too many connections, i am allowed 30 which is the number i entered , changed it to 15(2 servers x 15 =30) but still same message

ok all set up and ready to go....is there a basic how to somewhere, something newbie friendly ??

So ... what happens if you lower it to 10? It won't lower your download speed, because your Internet connection is probably an 'earlier' bottle neck.

And what do you mean with "2 servers"?

i have the rss set up organised i think, isnt there a way of configuring it so that the nzb automatically dl even if i am not in front of the pc??

Yes. But first make your SABnzbd working without any error messages.

If you want to proceed to RSS, star a seaparate thread; RSS is not part of the wizard
