hello guys, before I posted on here, i've been doing alot of troubleshooting, googling, reading this forum and others.

I'm on sabnzbd 0.7.9 (as of today), never had issues in the past since I started using this about 10 months ago.
my pc is running windows 7 64bit Icore 3.30ghz with 8GB memory.
article cache limit is set to 120M
server astraweb with 20 connections unlimited speed and retention of 1613

I've notice for the past couple days I've tried to get about 15 movies using CP and only 3 completed. I've been getting this error alot "Download might fail, only 0.0% of required 100.2% available "

Today I've manually went out to several (6) of my indexing site and try to grab the movies I wanted, even though alot of them would say 20days 44 days the other error I would get is that it's out of retention or the missing files. I find that to be very impossible that every movie I've tried to get recently has told me the same.

My other issue is with my speed. my ISP gives me 50MB, i've always left sab at the default 0 and I would get 4-7GB movies in less than 15 mins, now a 4gb movie and it's telling me 163MIN so I changed the speed from 0 to 51200KB and it doesn't seem to make that big of a difference. I'm wondering if it's me or if it's something with these recent updates.

Thank you

Your first question is often answered by Shypike as "Welcome to the New Usenet"... see http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/faq#toc31

Your second question: see http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/faq#toc30 , so your ISP promises you 50 Mbps = 5 MB/s. What does speedtest.net report ... 50 Mbps? And what does SABnzbd report ... 5 MB/s?
(Yes, it's confusing ... Mbps versus MB/s ... rule of thumb: low-level (like network layer) is reported in bits per second, higher level (application level) in BYTES per second)

Thank you Sander for replying.

speedtest.net reports 50.54 mbps also I checked the history of my downloads and they avg 5.9MB/s to 6.9MB/s

look like part of my problem could be that astraweb are losing alot of files, i'm starting to see threads about files being removed pretty fast.
