Downloads are slow

Hi guys!

I just upgraded my sabnzbd to 0.4.4 from 0.2.5 (yes, old, I know!) and I'm now experiencing download slowness that I've never had before.  In the old version, my downloads were always 1100k/sec or so, and now I cannot even break 200k/sec.  Nothing on my system has changed other than this update.  Not sure if it's important to troubleshooting, but I'm using v3.newzbin.com and using the nzbdstatus addon for Firefox and SabTab.  I am using Firefox 3 on a laptop with 1GB RAM, T2400 @ 1.83 GHz.

I have no software firewall, but I am using a Linksys WRT54G router with mostly factory settings (I have a few more ports opened).  I do not have sabnzbd set up to throttle the download speed at all.

Does anyone have any ideas to speed up my downloads?

You having exactly the same settings as before ?

So same connections and all  ?

try to set your topdownload speed , and see what that will do.

And also ... is it on all files ? or just on one ?
As it sometimes also can be the usenetserver

As far as I know I didn't change any settings at all.  It's on any downloads that I try.  I've let it wait for a long time and the speed never increases.  I am not using SSL.

Did you copy the existing 0.2.5 INI file?
Try not to use any existing data and INI file of 0.2.5.
Be aware that some settings have a different interpretation.

You can email the (new) INI file (without passwords!) to bugs at sabnzbd.org
