Multiple download locations

Does anyone know if anything like this is possible? I just got an external hard drive and constantly having to change the temporary / completed download folders between my pc HD and external seems like it could be a massive pain. Maybe some sort of dialog that pops up to ask like utorrent?

You can use the Categories to do this.

For example: I have a category "DLNA-share" which puts the result in my DLNA-shared directory

I advise against changing the temporary download folder.
SABnzbd is an automation tool, it's not really oriented towards interactive usage.
Having a popup is only useful with a native UI, not with a web interface that might not be active.

I've decided to just download everything from now on to the external drive. Thanks guys.

SABnzbd can be picky with external and remote drives; if the drive is not yet available at the startup of SAB, SAB will revert back to your local drive. And if the drive is available during startup but not later on in the actual download/unpack process, strange things will happen.

About 10% of the questions in this forum is about remote drives not being available or not writable. ( #madeupstatistics ;) )

So, if you can, let SAB put the downloads onto a local drive, and then move manually.

I download a lot of stuff so having to constantly write all the data I download to the external just isn't practical. I'll have it connected 24/7 so hopefully it won't be a problem but thanks for the suggestion.
