is there a way to use alternate server also for backup server? i'd like to use 2 servers not only to download faster but also to download missed parts from the other server.
an algorithm that check the completation of the block and choose the best server

-file- srv1 srv2 pick
xxxx xxxx xxx- srv1
xxxx xxx- xxxx srv2
xxxx xxxx xxxx random or fastest
xxxx xxx- xxx- backup server

That already happens automatically when you define neither as backup.

i was confused because sometimes to complete a download i had to disable one of the server and reload the nzb file

This sometimes happens when one of servers has replaced the post by DMCA notifications.
SABnzbd can detect this for several servers, but unfortunately some server mess up completely.
Which is the one you need to disable?

exactly. The server in this case is newshosting

Do you have an example of an NZB file that shows this behaviour,
so that I can take a look at what newshosting does exactly?
