Is the issue reproducible? It only does it sometimes, but has happened a lot recently

I been having problems with files not downloading in Sabnzbd. They will start downloading fine, but sometimes it will either just slow down and then stop or just stop and the queue will sit there idle as if there is nothing there. Tested the connection in the servers page (using Astraweb and Blocknews) both work but it shows 0 connections when looking at the status page. This has happened using different computers and ISPs.

Edit: Forgot to add that it sometimes is fixed with a restart of Sabnzbd but not always

Are you using "check before download"?

Is one job blocking the queue?
Have you looked at the job that should finish?
When you click on the job, you'll get the list of remaining files. Are there any?
What is the "only get articles from the top of the queue" setting? It should be off.

Not from what I could tell.
I would pause the top job and it would still sit at idle and not start the ones below it. I haven't looked inside that job but when it has happened the job still had files to download to complete the download
"Queue" settings are left default from when I installed Sabnzbd with only "Pause job when encrypted RAR is downloaded" checked.
It has even happened when I have placed new items in the queue when it was empty previously.

Here are some screenshots I took when the problem occurred today. I haven't been able to really test it yet but it has only happened with my Astraweb account. Also the Status page shows either 0 connections or 10 connections (this is what I have my max connection set to, as in the pic below) when it happened. Restart got it to start downloading again.

Does clicking Pause, waiting 10 seconds and Resume help?
Have you tried 0.7.5RC1 ?

No usually only a restart does it. Do you mean 0.7.5 which looks like it came out today.

0.7.5 is almost identical to 0.7.5RC1 (which is a test version).
I don't know if it's going to fix your problem, because from what you describe I cannot tell what the cause is.
But we have a policy of directing people to the latest version, because
we're not going to fix older versions anyway.
If, after upgrading, you still have the issue, then we can look for ways to solve it.

Same issue for me using SABnzbd Version: 0.7.3 (in Ubuntu... I just downloaded this yesterday, I didn't realize it wasn't the latest version).

Changing the priority to Force worked for me, but I think my issue might be that it's saying that I have 0.0 GB of Free disk space (although it downloaded another NZB w/o having me force it right before and it also said 0.0 free... the far right space indicator, the one to the left of it accurately lists free space).

Are you using the option "check before download'" in Config->Switches.
It can cause this bug. You should really go to 0.7.5
