NZB's disappearing immediately after fetching

Today I added several NZB's to my queue using SABconnect++ (chrome extension) from newzbin2.es. Everything looked to be working fine until I opened SABnzbd, and the queue was empty. As soon as I add a NZB, it displays "fetching..." and disappears immediately afterwards. I also tried downloading the NZB and adding it manually into SABnzbd- same problem.

I uninstalled SABnzbd and re-installed the latest version, didn't configure CP or SB and the same issue is occurring. Not sure where to go from here, maybe someone can lend a hand?

Oh yeah- I haven't changed any settings (and neither have any of the others in my house, apparently).

Did you notice
WARNING::[nzbstuff:699] Empty NZB file
in your log file?

Can you go to binsearch.info, create some random .NZB, put that into SABnzbd, and see what happens?

Starting today, I'm having this same issue with nzb files just disappearing once SABnzbd locates them.

While trying to figure this out, I downloaded a few different nzbs to my usual downloads folder, the one that SABnzbd watches (SABnzbd checks this folder every five seconds). The nzb files remain in this folder until SABnzbd gets to them and then they just disappear.

I downloaded different nzbs today from Binsearch and NZBIndex using Chrome, Firefox and Explorer, just to see what happens. The same thing happens regardless of browser or index. (BTW, all my old nzb files that were in my default "watch" folder disappeared today, too.) I did all this with my anti-virus off (Avast) and with Windows Defender off, but this made no difference.

Just to test things out, I changed the SABnzbd nzb "watch" folder to a different folder in CONFIG/FOLDERS and once again downloaded some nzbs into my usual "watch" folder. The files didn't disappear this time because, it seems, I had told SABnzbd to now watch a totally different folder. I tried to open these non-disappearing nzbs with SABnzbd by right-clicking and choosing "open with..." but had no luck. I tried to add these nzbs through SABnzbd 's "Add NZB" option, but after browsing and selecting the files and then clicking "upload," the file names were replaced in the interface with the message "no file chosen."

Then I changed the "watch" folder back to my usual one in SABnzbd. Once I did this, the nzb files disappeared again as soon as SABnzbd scanned them. (Oh, and I updated SABnzbd to 7.5 today after this stuff started happening, but that didn't help, either.)

So it seems the nzb files disappear once SABnzbd scans them.

BTW, I'm running the 64-bit version of Windows Vista.

If anyone has any idea how I can fix this, please let me know. I'm really confused.

Start with saving the NZB somewhere else.
Then manually upload it to SABnzbd from its user interface.
In short, make sure you have a valid NZB first.

Shypike, thanks for responding. I just realized what was wrong. One-hundred percent user error (I was the problem). It's all working OK now.

It would be helpfull for other users if you could be more detailed what the problem was. ;)
