I'm looking for a way in which I can great metrics/reports on my download history. My intent is not to see the history of what I downloaded, rather I want to track performance, as it related to speed of downloads. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Set logging level to DEBUG, and check your sabnzbd.log for "bps:":
