I love the SABNZBD / Newzbin.com integration... simply brilliant.

I can from any remote machine, log into my newzbin account and bookmark stuff that I know will be home waiting upon my return.

However, newzbin isn't always complete and something I need to find things on other sites such as Newsleech, etc...

So I'm wondering what is a good way to "send" my sabnzbd instance running on my windows box at home the nzb files I want it to download, or let it know where to look when I'm at work, starbucks, etc.

Thanks!

The only easy way is to set up sabnzbd so you can access it from outside your network.

To do this you need to set the host in config>general to either 0.0.0.0 (allows both localhost and your local ip address to simultaneously work, but not recommended for vista) or leave it blank (will find the local ip address and listen on that). Then you need to set up your router's port forwarding to allow port 8080 to forward to the local ip address of the machine running sabnzbd.

Now you can access sabnzbd using your external ip address (be sure to set up a username and password). You can then add nzb files you download to sabnzbd using the web-ui, or if you use the firefox extension nzbdstatus it will automatically add the nzb files you download for you.

Check out the site drop.io.
On this site you can create your own private upload section to upload your NZB's to.
The nice thing is: they have an RSS feature, that SABnzbd will probably be able to use.

*EDIT*
Alas, it doesn't work  :(. Looked promising though.
I'll see if the service can be used somehow.
