Hey guys!
I would kindly appreciate some help here since I am quite new to this. I am good at following instructions and have verything set up according to guides and the downloading is working fine as is Sickbeard communicating with SABnzbd. But heres the problem im having.
First:
I am running OSX 10.8.2
Using Chrome
SABNZBD 0.7.4
And latest Sickbeard and github etc.
My setup:
Incomplete folder --> Complete folder (Should unpack+repair+delete files) --> Move to the destination folder Sickbeard created (for example HIMYM)
To the problem.
When a download is completed I get a failed message "Download failed". But thats acutally not whats happenings since I can find the file in the "completed" folder I have and play the show.
BUT SABnzbd or Sickbeard doesnt post-process and/or unpacks the file correctly to the destination folder. I just get an failed moving x to y kinda thing.
Heres a Pastebin of the error.
http://pastebin.com/96KsGx3W
So I would gladly appreciate some help on how I should do this so it works. Lastly I had one episode working (heres pastebin http://pastebin.com/DfmVySfT) all the rest have failed.
I have looked over the FAQ and the only thing I found is to kill the par2 process in manager task, but I cant find it either.

Re: (NEWB) Unpacking Errors
Disable folder renaming in Config->Switches.
Some operating systems (Windows) are paranoid about renaming folders
and sometimes others don't know how to deal properly with renaming on external volumes.

Re: (NEWB) Unpacking Errors
There's something wrong with access rights on your external hard disk.
How is it formatted?
How is it formatted?
Re: (NEWB) Unpacking Errors
Its formated in FAT32, should that be a problem? I can format it back to HF+ (MAC OS extended)
When I manually post-process the files from sickbeard there isnt a problem though. So I can't really tell whats the problem. Heres the results I get when manually processing them on Sickbeard (but I dont want to do that all the time...) http://pastebin.com/qnXjjbXD

Re: (NEWB) Unpacking Errors
Formatted it to HF+ and now it works.
Any idea how it can work on FAT32 or exFAT?

Re: (NEWB) Unpacking Errors
The problem is that the paths generated are too long for FAT32.
You'll have to reduce them drastically.
One way is to set the option "folder_max_length" in Config->Specials to something like 50.
SABnzbd will then trim folder names within paths (not the actual file names).
You may need to chose a smaller value if it still goes wrong.

Alright I am going to try this out when I use my next external harddrive. What does the "folder_max_length" do to the quality of the shows?
By the way, if I copy over the added shows to another harddrive, do I have to download everything again or can I just "add show" on Sickbeard and show where the directory is for it to function normally?
And thanks for the heads up!
Re: (NEWB) Unpacking Errors
Shiw quality has no relation eith folder names.
I don't know how to slove things from SickBeard.
In SABnzbd, you just click Retry in the history item of a failed item.
