Would be nice if when telling you there's an update available Sab could download and process the update itself, just like Sickbeard. So you woudln't have to manually do an install.

On my Ubuntu Linux, SABnzbd is updated automatically. So maybe you can switch to Ubuntu? ;-)

But seriously: your suggestion has been discussed earlier here in this forum.

My idea on this: Sickbeard shows a self-update is possible, Sickbeard is open source and written in Python, SABnzbd is open source and written in Python, Shypike is overloaded with work, so hopefully someone can pick up the task.

I could switch to Ubuntu but I'm one of those Windows crack heads that got hooked with free software by Microsoft at school and now am an addict for life

But seriously would love this feature!
