Hi People,

Hope you can help me out here as I'm tearing my hair out.
I Have installed the above on my home server as a service and use to download as of yesterday.

The way I am currently going about downloading is Exporting to an NZB from Newsleecher into an AUTONZB folder which then pulls into sabnzbd.

The file in question if downloaded directly through newsleecher on my laptop works fine (file sizes roughly 100mb).
When the same download is running through my server on sabnzbd it is downloading very incomplete (file sizes roughly 54mb but varies).

It is not just this specific file as I have tried about ten different versions of the downloads. The show up as OK files in newsleecher.

If anyone can help me get to the bottom of why this is or has had similar experiences please let me know =)

Thanks in advance,
Any more information required please let me know and I will attend to it when I get home

Cheers,
Jamie

Do you know if the exported NZB files are complete?
Have you tried to download with NL, using the exported NZB?
Do you get any "duplicate article" warnings?
Do you use the same Usenet provider for both downloads?

1) Please instruct as to how I would know this
3) The fact I'm not sure what this is suggests a no
4) Yes, both running from Astraweb

I will delve deeper into 2 when I get home tonight as I have not tested this yet.

Well, 1 & 2 make more sense when combined.
#2 is one way of checking #1.
#1 is a bit hard to answer on it's own, although certain patterns in the content as seen in SABnzbd file detail overview can help.
Like: are there the expected number of par2 files?
Are there gaps in the RAR file numbering?
Do all RAR files (except the last one) have the same size?

#3 refers to an anomaly that's often seen with other indexers.
NZB sometimes contain different articles that claim to be the same part of the same file.
This requires an arbitrary decision by NL and SABnzbd and those choices can be different.
SABnzbd lists the phenomenon in its download summary.

Right just got home and loaded a NZB both into Newsleecher and sabnzbd and neither are working.

As you say this points to an nzb problem.
I have tried this both with an nzb generated on binsearch and through newsleecher.

My question now would be, how can I get something accross to sabnzbd?? :(
This has happened with 2 of the 3 downloads I have tried so far of which 1 went straight through no problems.

EDIT: Just realised that even though windows 7 is showing them as full complete files. They are indeed all corrupt....... Strange..... Must just be a dodgy set of files?

Corrupt posts certainly exist, but are relatively rare.
If both NL and SABnzbd give the same bad result, I'd give up that post.
