Multiple News Servers

Currently I have 2 news servers. giganews.com & newsdemon.com
If giganews.com is listed on top, does that mean it tries that one first, then tries newsdemon.com which is below it?
I'm trying to see if one has better retention than the other or which one I want to keep.
I've received more from giganews.com but I wonder if that is because it is listed first and it is the first news provider sabnzbd chooses first.
Thanks

SABnzbd makes a distinction between primary and backup servers.
All servers of the primary group are used for different articles.
When none of these have a specific article, the backup server group is used.

So is that setup under servers or somewhere else?

Didn't you notice the "Backup server" setting that each server has?
Checking that option means it belongs to the backup server group.
Otherwise it's a member of the primary group.

I do have another question that is related. Why would you need 2 news servers? Assuming the same retention.

For extra speed.
Some people use their ISP's free news server in combination with a limited speed paid one.
Or they combine a bunch of low-speed free servers.
The most typical combination is a mainstream monthly subscription server
and a less well-known block server as backup.
And most just use a single server
