When I set the Check for new Release to on and save, when I come back to the page config/switches, it always shows it set to off.

The ini file is well saved and the option is set to 1 in the file. Its the web interface that always reads and shows it as off!

That's right, there's a little error in the html code.
If you enter a value, it will be stored and acted upon, but it won't be displayed properly.
