RSS Feeds Quite Often Do Not Sort By Date

Hi,

First post on the forums. I'm having an issue with RSS Feeds where quite often they are not soorted by date as I would like them to be. For example, I have the following feeds:

http://rss.nzbmatrix.com/rss.php?page=d ... w+720p+KYR

http://rss.binsearch.net/rss.php?max=50 ... .emulators

The first time the feed is added, it shows all the items with the most recent one first. If I click 'Read Feed', the sort order changes and it is hard to find the most recent item in the list. From this point on, the sorting is not applied as it was first time around.

This used to work around Jan/Feb this year on an older version.

Thanks in advance.

The items are listed in the same order as in the feed.
If you enter the feed-URL into a browser, you should see the same order as in SABnzbd's display.
We don't look at time stamps in the feed, because each site uses its own conventions.
It's already a challenge to get the NZB link.

Hello,

I'm having the exact same issue whether i use rss from fanzub, nzbmatrix or nzb.su. The very first time it shows the RSS as it should be and then the sorting change. I checked under chrome with a rss feed reader and sabnzbd is not displaying it in the correct order.
Did you find a way to fix your issue ?

There is indeed a bug in the RSS function.
Each time the results are re-evaluated (like when you change a filter), the sort order is disturbed.
Will be fixed in the next release.

Hey,

Thanks a lot for the information. And SABnzbd really rocks, thanks to you and all the developers community that evolve around it.
I just rediscovered the newsgroup universe after some years on the direct download evil side :p
At the moment using SABnzbd with couchpotato and sickbeard and it is really amazing
