missing from all servers, discarding

Hi,

I have been trying to get sickbeard/couchpotatoe/sabnzbd up and running and am having an issue where all downloads are showing "Download failed - Out of your server's retention? ". When I look in the logs I see the following type of errors over and over, but if I try and download an nzb manually with wget then I can access the file fine. I have managed to download a couple of shows last night but nothing else seems to have worked since

I am using SABnzbd version 0.7.0 on a QNAP TS-109

I am using free.xsusenet.com on port 119 with Connections: 2, Retention time: 10, Timeout: 120, no SSL

I am also using free NZB.su for Sickbeard/Couchpoptatoe
API Hits Today: 104
Grabs Today: 11 (Next DL in 1h 1m)
Grabs Total: 24

I am still new to this and trying to get my head around how it all works, for now I am using free providers and I want to see how it all works and get a feel for whether I need a better account or not.

Any thoughts/ideas? Am I just hitting server limits because of using free accounts?

Thanks!

Easy: what you're trying to download is older than the retention of 10 dyas. To be specific: the post is from 23 Aug 2012 ... so that's 18 days, which is more than the 10 days retention.

Easy way to check the age: while it is in the queue, hover your mouse above the download ... SABnzbd will give a green popup with the Age.

Thanks for the quick reply, as I said I'm new to this but learning as I go. So my solution would be to upgrade to a paid provider if I want anything older than 10 days?

Thanks again

Yep. Find a paid provider. I would advice a *prepaid* provider; for about 6 Euro you should be able to get one month unlimited downloading. No strings attached.

Oh: find a provider that just asks you for the money, mobile number and email. Not all kinds of other information.

PS: what does http://test-ipv6.com/ say about your IPv6?

PPS: http://yabnews.nl/request-trial ... 3 days for free ... A friend of mine used this. Their regular prices look reasonable ... just buy a 4 Mbps account.

Your IPv4 address on the public Internet appears to be ....

No IPv6 address detected [more info]

The World IPv6 Launch day is June 6th, 2012. Good news! Your current browser, on this computer and at this location, are expected to keep working after the Launch. [more info]

You appear to be able to browse the IPv4 Internet only. You will not be able to reach IPv6-only sites.

Your DNS server (possibly run by your ISP) appears to have IPv6 Internet access.
Your readiness scores
10/10 for your IPv4 stability and readiness, when publishers offer both IPv4 and IPv6
0/10 for your IPv6 stability and readiness, when publishers are forced to go IPv6 only

Not too good I guess? What Impact will this have?

Ok thanks, any other recommended providers for me to check out?
