I am having persisting problems with saving files to an external USB 2,5 NTFS formatted drive from my SABNZBD OSX.
According to the WIKI, saving complete files should be easy: putting the file path "Volumes/USB/complete' in the settings page of SABNZBD.
However, when I do this I get an error message saying SABNZBD is unable to access that location.
Any suggestions? Is this due to the external drive being NTFS formatted? Thanks.
(I have Paragon NTFS installed)

Re: [OSX] saving to external NTFS drive
Volumes/USB is not correct, it should be /Volumes/USB
Re: [OSX] saving to external NTFS drive
Typo, I did use the slash. Keep getting the message: 'Cannot create map'
Re: [OSX] saving to external NTFS drive
Can you create folders on the external drive from the Finder?

Yes no problemshypike wrote:Can you create folders on the external drive from the Finder?
Re: [OSX] saving to external NTFS drive
After having created the base folder manually, does SABnzbd create the underlying folders?
For SABnzbd all file systems are alike and it addresses them through standard system functions,
so as long as the native file system is mimicked enough, there shouldn't be an issue.
If not, I wouldn't know what to do about it.

Re: [OSX] saving to external NTFS drive
Do you mean with base folder 'sabnzbd'? I haven't created that one manually I am afraid. Will do ASAP.
Re: [OSX] saving to external NTFS drive
The base folder would be /Volumes/USB/complete
or whatever you set as "Completed Download Folder".
